A Special Message from Stephanie Rosenbaum, TecEd’s Founder and CEO
Hello colleagues and friends,
We’re about to see some wonderful changes at TecEd! For the past few years, I’ve been spending less time on UX projects and more on my other passion, singing early classical music. I’m now singing in two performing choirs: the California Bach Society (in the Bay Area) and the Ann Arbor Grail Singers, as well as serving on the board of the Ann Arbor Academy for Early Music.
So after more than 50 years in business, I’ve decided it’s time for TecEd to begin a new chapter. You may not know that in 2022 I was honored to receive the User Experience Professionals’ Lifetime Achievement Award. The following year, the 2023 UXPA Lifetime Achievement Award winner was my long-time colleague and friend Carol Righi, who has been a consultant with TecEd for many years.
I’m delighted to share with you that on January 1st, I’ll be handing over the reins at TecEd to Carol and her colleague Vasileios (Vasilis) Kalyvis. That will enable TecEd not only to continue our pioneering efforts in qualitative UX research, but also to focus on UX for AI and quantitative UX research, with a greater international reach (because Vasilis is an EU citizen based in Greece).
Although the official transition won’t happen until January, Carol and Vasilis are already familiarizing themselves with TecEd’s day-to-day operations, and we’re working with the other TecEd team members to ensure a seamless transition for all of our clients, colleagues, and friends.
You’ll still (always) be able to reach me at my TecEd email, and of course TecEd’s new owners as well:
